Short bio

Professor Angeles G. Navarro is the co-leader with Dr. Rafael Asenjo of the Parallel Programming Models and Compilers research group at the Dept. of Computer Architecture. Her research interest is on programming models and runtime environments for heterogeneous architectures. Her scientific production can be summarized in more than 100 publications in journals and international conferences. She has advised 7 doctoral thesis and has been the PI of several R+D+i competitive projects. She is an external evaluator in ANEP, a member of the Committee of experts in the ANECA, and member of the Committee of Experts in the EU FP7, H2020 and Horizon Europe frameworks. She has carried out 11 research stays in international research centres.
